The Carroll Tigers boys track team started their season with a third-place finish in Ogden Thursday night. The Tigers only won one event Thursday night but finished strong in most of the individual events. Ryan North finished in first place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:44.58. Jake Jorgensen finished in third place, running a time of 24.16 in the 200-meter dash. In the 400-meter dash, Caden Mollhoff finished in third place, running a time of 56.84. The Carroll 4×400 relay of Caden Mollhoff, Maddox White, Mason Stitz, and Cayden Lueders ran a time of 3:52.17.
Carroll finished second in the distance medley. Reece Ziegmann, Chase Ragaller, Edrik Heisterkamp, and Ryan North ran a time of 3:47.47. Reece Ziegmann finished second in the long jump with a jump of 20-01.25. Freshman Adam Malik finished second in the high jump with a jump of 5-08.
