State Wrestling Results for Saturday, February 17th
Charlie Veit of East Sac finished in 7th and Brock Nattress of South Central Calhoun took home 8th place as they wrap up great careers at the State Tournament on Saturday.
Charlie Veit of East Sac earned the 7th spot on the podium in Class 1A at 144-pounds with an impressive win over Zane Mullenix of Pleasantville. Getting out to a quick start, leading 6-0. Veit picked up some late points, winning 8-2.
Brock Nattress of South Central Calhoun wrestled Easton Krall of Wapsie Valley. Nattress had gotten banged up in his last match on Friday evening and gave up a early takedown, landing wrong. He would lose by fall in 1:01 to finish in 8th place.
