Carroll Vs Winterset and Creston At Regional Duals At Creston
Carroll took charge early with wins in five of the first-six matches. Cooper Ludwig started it with a 13-12 decision, followed by Owen Klocke earning a 7-3 decision. Chase Ragaller and Quinten Polking both had wins by fall wrapped around a major decision (16-3) win for Kieran Polking. Winterset cut the Tigers lead to 22-15 with a win by fall and a decision but Jake Kinkade gave Carroll some momentum with a pin in the 1st period, putting Carroll up 28-15 with five matches left. A Carson Tedrow pin in the 2nd period kept the Tigers in control with three matches left and even though the Tigers dropped the next two matches, they only gave up 7-points, meaning Cael Nelson would have to lose by fall to give the Huskies a chance. Nelson clinched it for Carroll with a 5-2 decision, sending Carroll into the Regional Finals against Creston. Carroll went 8-6 in matches wrestled against Winterset, with 4 wins by fall, 3 by decision and a major decision.
The Tigers won the first-three matches in the final round against Creston, building a 15-0 lead with Cooper Ludwig and Chase Ragaller earning wins by fall. Owen Klocke picked up a 9-3 decision. Quinten Polking pushed the Carroll lead to 18-4 after a 10-6 decision in the fifth match. Creston took control of the dual with three straight wins by fall, followed by a tech fall and another pin. They led 33-18 with four matches left. The Panthers earned their 6th and 7th straight wins with a pair of decisions, clinching the dual. Cael Nelson stopped the run with a 8-4 decision, scoring the final points for Carroll. The Tigers went 5-9 against Creston with 2 wins by fall and 3 by decision.
Carroll combined to go 13-15 in matches wrestled with 6 wins by fall, 6 by decision and a major decision.

The East Sac County Raiders went 0-3 Tuesday night against MVAOCOU, Woodbine, and Manson NW Webster. The Raiders started the quad off, falling to Manson NW Webster 60-17. ESC went 3-4 in matches wrestled. Chandler Lahr, Tyler Renze, and Bradyn Burns picked up wins in the dual. The Raider’s second duel was a close one, but they dropped it to MVAOCOU 33-30. ESC went 0-3 in matches wrestled. Woodbine knocked off East Sac County in the final duel 42-18. The Raiders went 3-4 in matches wrestled. Bradyn Burns picked up his second win of the night in the duel. Chandler Lahr and Kaydon Erpelding also picked up wins over Woodbine.
