Girls Wrestling Results For Monday, December 18th
Audubon, Carroll and South Central Calhoun at Kuemper Tournament
Audubon, Carroll, and South Central Calhoun were all at Kuemper Monday night, with every team having multiple girls finish on the podium. For the Wheelers, Laura McCarville finished fifth at 125 pounds for Audubon. The Carroll Tigers one champion Monday night in Brianna Kiger. At 115 pounds, Kiger received a first-round bye and then won pin and tec-fall to send her to the championship match. Kiger would go on to win by decision in the championship match. Sadie Smith was the only Kuemper Knight to place Monday night. Smith came away with a third-place finish at 120 pounds, and for South Central Calhoun, Evelyn Kramer finished in second place at 110. Kramer picked up two wins by fall in the quarterfinals and semifinals before dropping the championship match.
