Carroll At Ballard

Carroll 54

Ballard 45

Carroll earned their first win over Ballard since the early 2000’s, winning 54-45 on the road on Friday. They played extremely well defensively and did a nice job attacking the basket on offense. Their spacing allowed them to find creases in an aggressive Ballard defense and were able to penetrate in the half-court and attack against the Bombers pressure. Carroll turned it over only 13 times while having 13 assists. Coach Katie Kock says it was their best game for ball movement and sharing the ball. Carroll had four girls in double figures with Chloe Kock leading the attack with 17-points. The Tigers took a lead early in the 2nd half and didn’t relinquish it. The 1st half went back and forth with Carroll leading 11-8 at the end of the 1st quarter and Ballard taking a 20-18 lead at half.
