Girls Wrestling Results For Monday, November, 27th

Carroll and Audubon at Denison Schleswig 

The Carroll Tigers went 2-1 on the night, beating Audubon and Hinton while falling to Denison-Schleswig at a quad Monday night. Audubon finished the night 0-3, losing the Carroll, Hinton, and Denison-Schleswig. The Carroll Tigers started the night off by beating Audubon 54 to 12. Julia Kanne won by fall over Jordan Mulfod in 1:25. Laura McCarville and Michelle Brooks won back to back matches for the Wheelers by pin. Averi Burke and Kloee Jones also picked up wins against Audubon for the Tigers. Both Carroll and Audubon would fall to Denison-Schleswig. The Wheelers lost 64-6, with Laura McCarville picking up the lone victory via forfeit.

Carroll fell to the Monarchs 46-27. Julia Kanne picked up her second victory of the night and the second pin. Burke and Jones also won against Denison-Schleswig to move to 2-0. Emma Daniels and Brianna Kiger also picked up match wins against Denison-Schleswig. Carroll would finish the night with a victory over Hinton 47-30. Kanne finished the night perfectly, picking up her third victory, all coming via pin. Burke and Jones also picked up victories, going 3-0 on the night. Audubon lost 39-18 against Hinton. All of Audubon’s wins against Hinton came via forfeit.

East Sac County and South Central Calhoun at Manson NW Webster

The South Central Calhoun Titans and the East Sac County Raiders participated Monday night at the Manson NW Webster tournament. Four ESC girls finished in the four, while SCC had five finished in the top three. For the Titans, Megan Folsom, Meia Hefley, Evelyn Kramer, and Kourtney King all finished in first place in their respective weight classes. The Raiders had an individual champion in Olivya Mack. In team scoring, SCC finished in third place with a total of 105 points. ESC finished in eight, scoring a total of 43 points. Sioux Central was the team champion, scoring 145 points.
