Audubon and Lenox both scored on their first drive but the Wheelers turned it over twice inside the Lenos 25-yard line in the 2nd quarter and the Tigers built a 19-8 lead at half. The Wheelers were up 8-7 four minutes into the game after both teams scored early. Aaron Olsen scored for the Wheelers who were able to add a two-point conversion. The Wheelers finished the game with 151-yards rushing with Olsen and Evan Alt both going for over 50-yards. They passed for 79-yards with three players throwing passes as Olsen and Carson Wessel were both injured in the 3rd quarter and weren’t able to return. Lenox was able to establish their ground attack, rushing for 335-yards with three players going for over 50-yards. They only passed it five time, completing three for 43-yards. The Tigers took the lead in the 2nd quarter and led 19-8 at half. Audubon had a couple of chances in the 2nd half, but turned it over twice in Tigers territory in the 2nd quarter. Once was inside the Tigers 10-yard line. Injuries hindered the Wheelers chances in the 2nd half as Lenox was able to chew up clock with their ground game. Lenox extended the lead to 27-8 in the 3rd quarter, then scored a touchdown in the 4th to put the game away.
Aaron Olsen led the Wheelers with 70-yards on the ground with Evan Alt rushing for 55-yards. Austin Christensen had a team high 4 catches for 48-yards and led the Wheelers with 12.5 tackles, including 9 solo tackles. Alt added 9.5 tackles.
