The South Central Calhoun Titans jumped out to a lead in the first half but struggled to hold on to it in the second half. Logan-Magnolia jumped out to a 6-0 lead following a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to jump out to a 6-0 lead. On the following drive, SCC tied the game up following a nine-yard touchdown run by Brock Nattress. SCC would take their first lead of the game at 14-6 after Nattress scored his second touchdown of the game on a seven-yard run. Logan-Magnolia cut into the Titan lead late in the second quarter as they scored on a 57-yard touchdown pass to make the score 14-12. SCC answered on their next drive to take the lead into the locker room 20-12 following a 15-yard touchdown pass from Gavin Batta as he found Keegan Soard. Logan-Magnolia scored a touchdown to tie the game at 20-20 late in the third quarter. The game stayed tied the rest of the game. The Titans forced overtime after they blocked a Panthers field goal attempt as time expired. Logan-Magnolia would go on to win 26-20 in overtime as they scored on a one-yard touchdown run.
SCC struggled to run the football as they totaled 25 yards on the ground. Cole Higgins was the leading rusher with 21 yards on seven carries. Gavin Batta completed nine of his 21 pass attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown. Zach Trott caught five passes for 55 yards. Keegan Soard recorded two catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. With the loss, South Central Calhoun’s season came to an end at 5-4.
