The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats pick up a big win as they head into the playoffs. The Wildcats fell down early as St. Edmond scored the first touchdown of the game to take an 8-0 lead. Glidden-Ralston responded as they would take their first lead of the game at 14-8 and never look back. The Wildcats would extend their lead to 30-8 in the first half. The lead jumped to 50-8 in the second half, and the Wildcats would go on to win 62-16 against St. Edmonds.
Colby Wallace had his best game of the season for the Wildcats. Wallace ran for 191 yards on 21 carries, scoring six touchdowns. Emmett Snyder also went over 100 yards on 13 carries. As a team, the Wildcats ran for 355 yards. Collin Sturm was the leading tackler Friday, with 4.5 tackles for the Wildcats. With the win, Glidden-Ralston improves their record to 6-2. The Wildcats will travel to Exira-EHK to open the playoffs Friday on 93.7 KKRL.
