Girls Cross Country Results Saturday, October 14th 

East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Twin Lakes Conference Meet At Alta

Chloe Judisch and Iris Melody of South Central Calhoun and Libbie Veit of East Sac had strong days as all three finished in the top 15 at the Twin Lakes Conference Meet in Alta on Saturday. The meet was postponed on Thursday due to the weather and moved to Saturday. The Warriors were the team favorite and claimed the team title with 40-points. Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids, South Central Calhoun and Manson NW Webster battled for 2nd through 4th with the Rebels taking 2nd with 65-points and the Titans in 3rd, just ahead of the Cougars, holding them off 77 to 78. East Sac ran three runners and didn’t have a team score.

Nora Peterson of Alta-Aurelia claimed the individual title in 19:03.27. Alyssa Richman of Manson NW Webster was 2nd in 19:06.92 and Tyra Schupbach of West Bend Mallard took 3rd in 19:27.98. Chloe Judisch took 4th for the Titans and was the top finisher for the local area. Judisch ran a 20:13.77. Iris Melody of South Central Calhoun joined her teammate in the top 10, taking 8th in 21:50.99. Libbie Veit continues her strong freshman season, taking 12th place with 22:14.47.

IKM-Manning At Missouri Valley

Raegan Garrison was outstanding again for IKM-Manning as the Wolves placed three girls in the top 17. Garrison led the way, taking 2nd place in 20:10.0, only behind individual champion Madison Sporrer of LoMa, who ran a 19:35.7. Taylor Beckendorf and Emily Albertsen were also strong for the Wolves with Beckendorf in 16th place and Albertsen in 17th place. Emma Reginato was their fourth runner, taking 28th place.

AHSTW held off Riverside and Woodbine for the team title with 47-points with Riverside at 51 and Woodbine at 52.
