Boys Cross Country Results Saturday, October 14th
East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Twin Lakes Conference Meet At Alta
East Sac maintained their dominance on the area, winning the Twin Lakes Conference meet and sweeping the top three individual spots with Isaiah Aragon, Parker Engel and Landon Sporrer running away from the pack with Aragon and Engel topping the field by nearly 50 seconds. The Raiders easily outdistanced Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids, who took 2nd with 47-points as the Raiders scored 33-points, having four runners in the top 10. South Central Calhoun had a strong day, taking 4th as a team with 92-pionts, behind Manson NW Webster with 82-points. The Titans had had one runner in the top 10, but finished with four in the top 20.
What a race for the individual title as Isaiah Aragon and Parker Engel continue to set the tempo for the rest of the area. Aragon edged Engel by .25 to win another title with Engel taking 2nd place. Aragon ran a 16:53.70 with Engel running a 16:53.95. Landon Sporrer of East Sac took 3rd, running a 17:42.63. Redge Potts paced South Central Calhoun with a 8th place finish, running 18:13.30. Owen Engel was 10th for East Sac with Tristan Blair of South Central Calhoun 15th. East Sac and South Central Calhoun went 17th-19th with Riley Aragon of East Sac 17th, followed by Titans Nathan Burley in 18th and Joe Thielen in 19th place.

IKM-Manning At Missouri Valley
IKM-Manning had some injuries earlier in the week and was missing a few runners on Saturday in Missouri Valley. They finished 5th as team with 117-points with Woodbine winning the team title with 32-points. Missouri Valley had 47-points, to finish 2nd with Riverside in 3rd with 63-points. Woodbine swept the two spots with Landon Bendgen winning in 15:35.7 and Gunner Wagner taking 2nd in 16:57.0. Riverside went 3rd through 5th and Missouri Valley had 6th, 7th and 9th place as those three teams took all 10 of the top 10 spots. Woodbine added 8th and 10th place individual finishes. Abe Polzien paced IKM-Manning, finishing in 21st place in 19:05.8.
