Girls Cross Country Results Monday, October 9th 

IKM-Manning and Audubon At Western Iowa Conference Meet At Audubon 

IKM-Manning and Audubon competed at the Western Iowa Conference Meet at Audubon on Monday with neither team able to garner a team score. The Wolves had three girls finish the race and Audubon had one girl run. Three of the four girls finished in the top 10 and all four were in the top 16. Treynor won the meet with 31 points, holding off AHSTW, who took 2nd with 38 points. Raegan Garrison of IKM-Manning led the local runners in 3rd place  in 21:06.7 with Stefi Beisswenger of Audubon in 7th place. Beisswenger ran a 22:06.8. Taylor Beckendorf of IKM-Manning finished 8th and ran a 22:14.9. All three runners said the hills were tough with Garrison and Beisswenger enjoying the down hills more as they were able to stride out. Beckendorf felt she ran better up hill. Emily Albertsen of IKM-Manning took 16th.

Madison Sporrer of LoMa won the meet in 20:21.1 with Lilly Yochum of Treynor in 2nd place in 20:59.7.

East Sac, Ar-We-Va and South Central Calhoun At OABCIG Invite

South Central Calhoun finished 8th while East Sac and Ar-We-Va didn’t have enough runners for a team score. The Titans had 172-points, just behind 7th place MVAOCOU, who finished with 163-points. The Titans had one runner in the top 13 with East Sac having a runner in the top 20. Ar-We-Va ran one runner, finishing in 34th place. Alta-Aurelia edged Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids for the title 64-points to 65-points as Nora Peterson of Alta-Aurelia was the champion in 19:23.55 and Chloe Broer of West Monona took 2nd place in 20:08.88.

South Central Calhoun’s Brenna McAlister was the top local runner, taking 13th in 22:02.49 while Libbie Veit of East Sac took 18th in 22:34.20 and Gabrielle Hundling of Ar-We-Va finished 34th in 24:11.45.
