Cross Country Results For Thursday, October 5th

Ar-We-Va and IKM-Manning at Boyer Valley

IKM-Manning takes home the team title at Boyer Valley on Thursday, with three girls finishing in the top ten. Gabrielle Hundling was the only runner for Ar-We-Va as she took home a top-15 finish for the Rockets. Reagan Garrison was the top finisher for the Wolves as she came in fourth place, running a time of 20:44. The other top ten finishers for IKM-Manning were Taylor Beckendorf and Emily Albertsen. Maddison Sporrer of Logan-Magnolia took home first place, running a time of 19:24.

The IKM-Manning Wolves took home the team title as they recorded 43 points. The Wolves were closely followed by Boyer Valley, who came in second with 46 points. Taylor Beckendorf of IKM-Manning finished seventh, running a time of 22:03. Emily Albertsen finished ninth for IKM-Manning, finishing the race in a time of 22:45. Ar-We-Va did not qualify for a team score due to only have one runner participate Thursday.

Kuemper at Atlantic

The Kuemper Knights took home ninth out of 12 teams at a challenging field in Atlantic Thursday. Marie Dae finished seventh for the Knights. Julia Kanne was the second-best finisher for Kuemper as she came in 42nd place. Addie Davis came in 69th for the Knights. Harlan’s Lindsey Sonderman finished in first running a time of 19:21. Grace Berglund of Glenwood was the second-place finisher with a time of 19:34.

Glenwood took home the team title, finishing with 66 points. Harlan was second with 73 points. The Kuemper Knights came in ninth place, totaling 234 points. Marie Dae ran a time of 20:34, which was good enough for seventh place overall. Julia Kanne ran a time of 22:55, which put her in 42nd place. In 69th was Addie Davis, who ran a time of 24:29.
