Girls Cross Country Results Saturday, September 30th
East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Pocahontas Area
South Central and East Sac competed on a warm Saturday morning for late September, getting some good races as the Titans finished 4th with 95-points, holding off Manson NW Webster, who had individual champion Alyssa Richman. Richman ran a 18:19.89, holding off Tyra Schupbach of West Bend-Mallard in 18:30.10. The Raiders only ran two girls and didn’t have a team score. Sioux Central-Sioux Rapids won the team race with 45-points, followed by Ridge View (58) and Pocahontas Area with 81.
Bre Patterson of South Central Calhoun led all local runners in 10th place with a 21:44.37. She was followed by teammate Brenna McAlister in 11th place at 21:58.53. Libbie Veit led East Sac in 18th place, running a 22:56.90. The Titans had two runners in the top 20 while East Sac had one.
