Boys Cross Country Results Saturday, September 30th
East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Pocahontas Area
East Sac dominance continued as they won their sixth meet out of seven meets this season, rolling to a win with the top three individuals and four of the top seven runners. The Raiders had all five runners that pointed in the top 18th. They finished with 31-points, easily out distancing 2nd place Sioux Central-Sioux Rapids with 71-points and Manson NW Webster with 76-points. South Central Calhoun pushed for 3rd place, but finished 4th with 85-points. They Titans had two runners in the top 10 and their top four runners finished in the top 22.
The Raiders swept the top three individual spots with Parker Engel setting a very fast pace and winning in 16:10.72. He won by nearly 0:40 over his teammate Isaiah Aragon, who finished 2nd in 16:50.13, followed by Raider Landon Sporrer in 3rd in 17:19.88. Owen Engel gave the Raiders a 7th place finish in 17:43.48. Redge Potts and Tristan Blair paced South Central Calhoun. Potts led the way in 5th place, running a 17:24.67 with Blair taking 10th place in 17:49.10. Joe Thielen finished 16th and Nathan Burley was 22nd for South Central Calhoun. Riley Aragon finished 18th for East Sac.
