Cross Country Results For Tuesday, September 26

Coon Rapids-Bayard at Ogden at Don Williams

The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders ran at Ogden on Tuesday as they had one run finish in the top 25. The Crusaders did not place as a team because only three runners participated. Sophomore Landon Cook ran the fastest time for CRB as he finished 21st. Jace Baker finished towards the bottom in 93rd place. Clay Warson of Madrid ran the quickest time at 16:17.

Madrid also finished first in the team standings with a total of 54 points. Ogden came in a close second with 61 points, followed by Ankeny Christian in third with 65 points. Landon Cook ran an overall time of 18:46. Jace Baker finished in 93rd with an overall time of 24:21. Logan Kenyon followed Baker as he came in 98th with a time of 25:30. With only having three runs participated, CRB did not finish in the team standings.

South Central Calhoun and Kuemper at Denison

Kuemper Catholic had two runners finish in the top four as they went on to win the team title in Denison Tuesday. South Central Calhoun boys also ran well on Tuesday, finishing eighth overall as a team. Ryan North ran the fastest time of all the area runners as he came in third. Jacob Greving for Kuemper ran the second fastest time as he finished in fifth, just a second behind his teammate North. Redge Potts ran the fastest time for SCC as he finished in 9th overall. The fastest time was run by Landon Bendgen of Woodbine, who finished almost a whole minute ahead of the second-place finisher.

Kuemepr won the team title with a total of 51 points. Woodbine came in second with 75 team points. South Central Calhoun ran in the middle of the pack as they finished with 208 team points, which was good enough for eighth place. Ryan North ran the fastest time for the Knights as he came in third place with a total time of 17:39. Jacob Greving was not far behind North as he finished in fifth for Kuemper, running a time of 17:40. Redge Potts was the highest finisher for the Titans as he came in 9th with a final time of 18:27. Tristan Blair ran the second fastest time for SCC as he came in 16th with an overall time of 18:53.
