The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats bounce back with a good district home win 22-18 over Colo-Nesco. The Wildcats had to hang on in the win as Colo-Nesco made a late comeback in the game. Glidden-Ralston jumped out to a 16-6 lead as the first quarter game came to an end. The Wildcats were able to extend that lead to 22-6 at the half. Coloc-Nesco made adjustments at the half and was able to contain the Glidden-Ralston rushing attack in the second half. Colo-Nesco added another touchdown in the third quarter, but the Wildcats held on to a 22-12 lead in the fourth. The Royals added another touchdown in the fourth and made things interesting in the fourth quarter as they trailed Gliden-Ralston 22-18. With a late fourth-quarter stop, the Wildcats were able to hang on to a 22-18 win over Colo-Nesco.

Glidden-Ralston was a force on the ground as a team. They ran for a total of 237 yards in the game. Emmett Snyder led the way on the ground with 109 yards. Colby Wallace recorded 64 yards on the ground with three touchdowns. Alex Daniel recorded the most tackles for the Wildcats, picking up 11.5 tackles.

With the win, Glidden-Ralston moved to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats are on the road next week at undefeated Baxter.
