Girls State Golf Results Friday, May 26th 

Class 2A At American Legion Golf Course At Marshalltown 

Addy Beiter of Kuemper finished 25th at the Class 2A State Girls Golf Meet, shooting a 185 over the two days of the tournament. Beiter shot a 97 on day 2 with a 56 on the front 9 and a 41 on the back 9. Beiter shot par on five holes on the back, holes 12, 13, 15, 16 and 17. She had  a bogey on holes 14 and 18. She shot bogey on 7 and 9 on the front 9.

 

Chloe Bolte of Sumner Fredericksburg was the 2A individual champion with a 152, winning by 10 strokes over runner-up Olivia Hines of Mediapolis. Roland Story claimed the 2A team title with a 723 with West Marshall in 2nd place with a 731.

 

Class 1A At Cedar Point Golf Course At Boone 

Kylie Powers closed out her outstanding senior season and career at IKM-Manning with a 7th place finish at the Class 1A State Golf Tournament. She had a two day total of 179, shooting a 90 on Friday, after firing an 89 on Thursday. Powers shot a 47 on the front 9 with a par on holes 4 and 7 and a 43 on the back 9 with a par on holes 11 and 15. Powers added 4 bogeys on the front (3, 5, 6, 8) and 6 more on the back (10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18).

 

Addy Boell of Glidden Ralston shot a 191 at the Class 1A State Golf Tournament, having a 98 on Friday. Boell had a 46 on the front 9 with a par of 7 and bogeys on 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9. She added a 52 on the back 9, having a bogey on holes 14, 15 and 17. Boell shot a 93 on Thursday. Her 191 placed her 22nd.

 

Kali Irlmeier ender her career at Audubon, finishing 41st with a 205. She had a 99 on Thursday and followed it up with a 106 on Friday. Irlmeier shot a 55 on the front 9 with a bogey on hole 4 and a 51 on the back 9 with bogeys on holes 10, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17.

 

Abbie Lindeman of Grundy Center was the individual champion in Class 1A, shooting a 159 and Taylor Phillips of New London was runner-up with a 160. Grundy Center claimed the team prize with a 706 with New London finishing 2nd with a 729.
