State Golf Results for Tuesday, May 23rd
Kuemper and Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun
The final day of state golf concluded Tuesday with fair conditions as Kuemper and Jusitn Hanks of South Central Calhoun concluded their 2023 seasons. As a team, Kuemper finished eighth overall with a total two-day score of 664. Grundy Center was named state champion with a total tournament score of 597.
Maverick Schwabe finished inside the top 15 individually at 13th overall with a day two score of 77 and 152 for the entire tournament. Braxton Vonnahme and Kayden Schon finished day two with the same score of 88 and had total scores of 167 and 172 respectively. Carter Putney rounded out the scoring for the Knights with a day two score of 86 and a total tournament score of 175. Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun represented the Titans well at state golf, finishing tied for 21st overall with a day two score of 81 and a total score of 156.
