Girls Golf Results for Monday, May 8th
Kuemper at Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet at Denison Schleswig
The Kuemper Knights had nearly perfect weather conditions Monday for their Hawkeye 10 Conference meet where one golfer was crowned champion. As a team, the Knights had a score of 434 and ended up finishing sixth overall. Atlantic were team champions with a score of 383.
Addy Beiter’s storied freshman year has another accomplishment added on to it, Hawkeye 10 champion. In a playoff against Atlantic’s Belle Berg, Beiter was able to secure the win and was crowned individual champion with a day’s score of 91. Elsa Tiefenthaler also had a standout day for the Knights with an overall score of 96. Grace Tigges was next where she had a score of 119 followed by Kendra Stork who had a score of 128 to round out the scoring for Kuemper.
Kuemper’s Class 2A regional golf meet will take place on Friday, May 12th at Red Oak.

Carroll at Raccoon River Conference Meet at Bondurant Farrar
The Carroll Tigers were in action Monday at Bondruant Farrar where they competed in the Raccoon River Conference Meet with teams, they are all too familiar with. The Tigers ended up placing sixth as a team with a score of 426. Gilbert took home the crown with a team score of 314.
Delaney Schurke and Makalei Kofron placed just within the top 20 snagging 18th and 19th place with the same score of 98. Olivia Boes was 30th overall with a score of 111 on the day. Ella Perry rounded out the top four scorers for Carroll with a day’s score of 119. Amelia Henson was just below Perry with a score of 120 followed by Emma Hoffman who ended up with a score of 125.
The Tigers are back in action on Thursday, May 11th when they travel to take on Denison Schleswig.

IKM-Manning at Treynor

The IKM-Manning Wolves were in action Monday when they traveled to take on Treynor. The Wolves were able to squeeze past the Cardinals with a score 205-207. The Wolves stayed undefeated with this win.
Kylie Powers nabbed another top individual honor with runner-up medalist with a score of 44. She was outdone by Treynor’s Brooklynn Currin who had a score of 39. Ella Richards and Maeve Nielsen followed up Powers’ score with scores of 52 and 53 respectively. Brooke Booth rounded out the top IKM-Manning scorers with a score of 56. Eryn Ramsey and Megan Williams weren’t too far off from Booth’s score as they ended the day with scores of 57 and 58 respectively.
IKM-Manning is back in action on Thursday, May 11th when they have their home invitational.

Riverside at Audubon

During a beautiful weather day Monday, the Audubon Wheelers hosted the Riverside Bulldogs and came away with some great individual results. The Wheelers were eventually defeated by the Bulldogs by scores of 231-244.
Kali Irlmeier continued to golf well into the end of the season with a runner-up medalist honor with a score of 53. Riverside’s Addison Brink shot five strokes better to claim medalist honors with a score of 48. Mari Gleason was next up for the Wheelers with a score of 57 on the day. Alexandra Asmus ended up with a score of 64 followed by Samantha Warnaca with a score of 70 to round out the scoring for the Wheelers.
Audubon is back in action on Friday, May 12th when they compete in their Class 1A Regional meet at the Manning Manilla Golf Course.
