Kuemper and St Albert played in a defensive battle on Friday, going into overtime scoreless. Kuemper received an outstanding effort from Brianna Wittrock, making 18 saves. The Falcons didn’t find the net until overtime, picking up a 1-0 win. Catherine Mayhall and Cierra Pudenz both had a shot on goal of the Knights.
Kuemper had their 4 game win streak snapped as they fall to 8-6 while St Albert improved to 9-5. The Knights host West Central Valley on Monday.
