Kuemper picked up a huge conference win on the road Thursday, topping Denison Schleswig 6-3 overall, winning four singles matches and clinching the win with a pair of wins in doubles. The Knights went 59-44 in singles games and 25-17 in doubles. Max Reincke and Hans Kraus controlled their singles matches with Reincke winning 10-2 and Kraus 10-4. Jake Hausman and Braxton Lu’s tight wins were the difference in the team win as Hausman battled for an 11-9 win and Lu won 10-8. Kraus finished his day 2-0, teaming with Josh Langel in doubles for a 10-6 win while Max Reincke and Braxton Lu both went 2-0 overall teaming for a 10-8 win in doubles.

Audubon was dominant in winning their second match of the season, rolling past Clarinda 7-2, going 5-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles matches. The Wheelers went 48-30 in singles games, helping them win several tight matches. Isaac Jackson and Carson Matthews both won 8-6 and had to come up big in late match situations. Sawyer Toft and Tommy Hogue dominated their singles matches with both winning 8-1. Connor Christensen showed grit, picking up a 10-8 win in singles. Christensen took that momentum and teamed with Sawyer Toft to win in doubles 8-3 while Carson Matthews and Tommy Hogue won their doubles match 8-6. The Wheelers held a 18-17 edge in games in doubles.
The win improves the Wheelers to 2-6.
