Carlisle At Carroll

Carroll picked up another win on Thursday, topping Carlisle by 20 strokes. The Tigers finished with a 214, having all four girls on the scorecard shoot in the 50’s. Carlisle countered with two girls in the 50’s and their other two scores in the 60’s to finish with a 234. It was a good race for Medalist with Delaney Schurke of Carroll and Fay Zaugg of Carlisle both shooting 51. Schurke earned Medalist honors and Zaugg picked up Runner-Up Medalist honors.

Makalei Kofron was in the hunt for honors with a 52, same with Ashlee Danner who finished with a 53 for the Tigers. Emma Hoffman added a 58 for Carroll.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At Rolling Valley Conference At Carroll Muni

Glidden Ralston edged Boyer Valley for the team title, shooting a 440 to the Bulldogs 444. They were the only two teams with four players to have a team score. The Wildcats added an individual title with Addy Boell shooting a 88 to win Medalist. Reese Snyder of CAM Anita was Runner-Up Medalist with a 99.

The Wildcats had three golfers in the top 10 with Boell followed by Elizabeth Lloyd in 4th place with a 106 and Amelia Garrett in 6th place with a 107. Summer Toms added a 139 for the Wildcats.

Gracyn Robbins paced Coon Rapids Bayard with a 138 and Summer South shot a 144 for the Crusaders.

IKM-Manning At Missouri Valley

Kylie Powers earned another Medalist honor and the Wolves won easily over Missouri Valley with every golfer for IKM-Manning at 58 or lower. Powers finished with a 44, edging Henley Arbaugh of Missouri Valley, who finished as Runner-Up Medalist with a 47. IKM-Manning was extremely balanced with their other five golfers with all of them shooting between 54 and 58. Maeve Nielsen and Eryn Ramsey both had 54’s, Brooke Booth and Megan Williams both shot a 55 and Ella Richards added a 58.

The Wolves remain undefeated at 16-0, they host Treynor on Monday.

South Central Calhoun, Newell Fonda and Sioux Central At SE Valley

The Titans took 2nd at a quad at SE Valley on Thursday, shooting a 204, ten strokes behind the champion in Newell Fonda which shot a 194. SE Valley also had a 204 with Sioux Central finishing with a 210. South Central Calhoun had three girls in the top 10 with Charissa Nowatzke leading the way in 5th place with a 49. Adlen Wheelock shot a 51, good for 9th place and Lauren Korkow finished with a 52 and was in 10th place. Kyra Bruns added another 52 for the Titans. Kendra Casey of Sioux Central earned Medalist honors, shooting a 41, five strokes in front of Alexis Barber of Newell Fonda who was Runner-Up Medalist with a 46.

East Sac, Emmetsburg and Manson NW Webster At GTRA

East Sac took 2nd place as a team and Sidney Bieret earned Runner-Up Medalist as the Raiders had a good day at the quad in GTRA. East Sac placed four golfers in the top 10 with two girls in the 40’s and two more in the 50’s. They finished with a 203, behind Emmetsburg, which shot a 195. Bieret had a 46 with Makenna Steiger shooting a 47, finishing in 3rd place. Ella Wilson shot a 52 and was 8th with Kendall Quirk shooting a 58 and finishing in 10th place. Kylie Iverson of Emmetsburg was Medalist with a 41.
