Audubon and IKM-Manning At WIC At Nishna Hills
IKM-Manning won the Western Iowa Conference Tournament Girls Championship at Nishna Hills in Atlantic on Wednesday. The Wolves were one of the favorites entering the meet, taking advantage of a perfect day to be at the golf course. The Wolves shot a 394, beating 2nd place Treynor by seven strokes. Audubon was 6th with a 439 behind 5th place Riverside, which shot a 427.
Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning battled for the Medalist honors, shooting an 80 and winning Runner-Up Medalist. Brooklynn Currin of Treynor earned Medalist honors with a 75. Powers shot a 39 on the front and a 41 on the back nine. Maeve Nielsen was strong for the Wolves, shooting a 103, followed by Brooke Booth with a 104 and Eryn Ramsey with a 107.
Kali Irlmeier led the Wheelers, taking 3rd place with a 90. Mari Gleason finished with a 113, Alexandra Asmus had a 114 and Samantha Warnaca had a 122.

Kali Irlmeier of Audubon edged Kailynn Brecher of Underwood for medalist honors, shooting a 90 to Brecher’s 91. The Eagles won the dual, topping Audubon 426 to 439. The Eagles other three golfers shot over 100.
