Kuemper At Carroll At Breda

Kuemper 162

Carroll High 184

Both teams had to deal with strong winds, helping them carry the green on some holes and keeping them from getting a good drive on other holes. Wind gusts were near 40 mph on Monday after as the Knights topped Carroll 162-184. The Knights claimed Medalist with Carter Putney who had a strong day on the tee box and birdied three of his last four  holes. That helped him finish with a 35. Braxton Vonnahme was Runner-Up Medalist with a 42, tying teammate Kayden Schon who also shot a 42, giving Kuemper the three lowest scores. Bryce Berlau and Miles Bogue led Carroll with 44’s. Bogue putted well and felt he played well on all but one hole. Maverick Schwabe was the final Kuemper golfer in the team score, shooting a 43 after starting slowly. Carroll received 48’s from both Wade Ragaller and Alec Ball.
