Girls Golf Results for Thursday, April 27th

The Kuemper Knights got another W Thursday when they traveled to take on Denison Schleswig. The Knights were able to win by a score of 210 to 225 and took home both of the top individual awards.
Addy Beiter and Elsa Tiefenthaler once again led the way for Kuemper with scores of 44 and 50 respectively. Beiter was crowned medalist while Tiefenthaler followed with runner-up medalist honors. Beiter had some troubles in the first few holes, but ended up with pars on holes 13, 17, and 18. Tiefenthaler saw the same struggles but was at her best on holes 10, 17, and 18 where she got a bogie on each. Grace Tigges and Ella Pick rounded out a solid top four for the Knights with the same score of 58.
The Knights are back on the course on Saturday, April 29th for their home invitational with Carroll competing at it along with other area teams.

Griswold at Audubon

The Audubon Wheelers were at home Thursday afternoon when they hosted Griswold. Both teams did not have enough golfers for team scores.
The Wheelers ended up taking another individual honor when Kali Irlmeier captured runner-up medalist honors by finishing the meet with a score of 45. Joanna Reynolds of Griswold took home medalist honors with a score of 44. Mari Gleason and Kacie Anthofer both ended the day with the same score of 54. The Wheelers round out their week of competition when they travel on Friday, April 28th to take on IKM-Manning.

Manson NW Webster, Newell Fonda, and Sioux Central at East Sac
The East Sac Raiders saw plenty of strong competition Thursday at their home quad meet against Manson NW Webster, Newell Fonda, and Sioux Central. The Raiders finished third overall with a team score of 220. Newell Fonda were the winners of the meet with a score of 198.
Sidney Bieret and McKenna Steiger both had a solid day on the course with the same score of 52 on the day. Kendra Casey from Sioux Central was named medalist with a score of 43 while Neveah Lyman of Newell Fonda was crowned runner-up medalist with a score of 49. Kendall Quirk was third on the team in scoring finishing the day with a 57. Haley Jo King rounded out the top four with a score of 59.
The Raiders will have a chance to see Newell Fonda again on Friday, April 28th when they host the Mustangs.

South Central Calhoun, Storm Lake St. Mary’s and Alta-Aurelia at SE Valley
The South Central Calhoun Titans were challenged Thursday afternoon when they traveled to Southeast Valley to take on the Jaguars, Storm Lake St. Mary’s, and Alta-Aurelia. The Titans finished third overall with a team score of 232. Alta-Aurelia were the eventual winners of the meet with a score of 211.
Mia Babcock led the Titans this time around when she finished the meet with a score of 53. She was followed closely behind by Sam Stuart who ended up with a score of 56. Adlen Wheelock rounded out a solid top three for the Titans with a score of 57 followed by Lauren Korkow who had a 66.
The Titans will see OABCIG twice this week, once on Friday, April 28th and again on Saturday, April 29th when they compete at the OABCIG Tournament.
