UPDATE Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Eight Top-Three Finishes for Glidden Ralston Girls Track on Tuesday

Glidden Ralston Girls at Woodward Granger

The Glidden Ralston Wildcats came away from their meet at Woodward Granger with eight top-three finishes which included five champions. As a team, the Wildcats finished toward the bottom of the standings at fourth place with 71 points. Woodward Granger was the eventual winner of the meet with 181 points.

Vanessa Koehler continues to be a star for the Wildcats with another three championships to her name. She was able to win the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.86, high jump with a winning jump of 4-10.00, and was part of the winning 4X100 relay, along with Savannah Bennett, Kassidy Wenck, and Tiela Janssen, who finished with a time of 55.26. Koehler also finished third overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.99.

Bennett, Wenck, and Janssen were joined by Ashtyn Klocke in the sprint medley relay where they won the event with a time of 2:05.56. Wenck and Janssen also had some top individual finishes. Wenck finished third overall in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.76 and second, in the shot put event with a best throw of 30-05.50. Janssen was able to win the 400-meter hurdles event with a winning time of 1:16.91.

Glidden Ralston is back in action on Thursday, April 27th when they compete at ACGC High School during the Gonzales/Parrish Invitational.
