UPDATE Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Glidden Ralston Boys Track Brings Home Six Top-Three Finishes Tuesday

Glidden Ralston Boys at Woodward Granger

The Glidden Ralston Wildcats had some solid outcomes Tuesday when they competed at Woodward Granger. The Wildcats were able to finish fourth as a team with 70 team points. Meet host Woodward Granger was the winner of the meet with 199 points.

The Wildcats ended up with six top-three finishes, all of them in individual events. Emmett Snyder brought home two second-place finishes, one in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.35 and the other in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:14.08. Joe Thelin showed out in the distance events with a second-place finish in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:20.68 and a third-place finish with a time of 12:00.11.

Glidden Ralston’s two champions were crowned in the field events. Lucas Christian was able to win the high jump with a winning jump of 5-06.00 and Wade Hunter won the shot put event with a winning throw of 42-00.25.

The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday, April 27th when they compete at the Gonzales/Parrish Invitational at ACGC High School.
