Carroll, East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Manson NW Webster
Carroll picks up a win on Tuesday in Manson, edging SE Valley 103 to 99 in team points with Pocahontas Area in the hunt with 98 points. The Tigers had three champions but won the meet with eight 2nd or 3rd place finishes. South Central Calhoun had a solid night, taking 5th with 67 points, having seven individuals or relays finish 2nd or 3rd. East Sac had a pair of champions along with two other individuals or relays finish 2nd or 3rd. The Raiders took 7th place with 45 points.
Carroll won the 4×100 in 45.79 with Reece Ziegmann, Trey Hunter, Austin Tigges and Jack White. Carroll won the Sprint Medley in 1:40.73 with Reece Ziegmann, Austin Tigges, Edrik Heisterkamp and Jack White. Ryan North continued his great season, winning the 3200 Meters in 10:22.49. Trey Hunter was 2nd for Carroll in the High Jump, Colton Wieland finished 2nd in the Discus, Reece Ziegmann added a 2nd in the Long Jump as Carroll did well in field events. The Tigers were 2nd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Carter Smith, Carson Tedrow, Cooper Ludwig and Ty Hawkinson. Ryan North added a 2nd in the 1600 Meters. Caleb Vanderheiden added a 3rd in the Shot Put, Dayton Wiederien was 3rd in the 800 Meters and Carroll was 3rd in the 4×400 with Edrik Heisterkamp, Trey Hunter, Austin Tigges and Jack White.
Brock Nattress was a top performer for the Titans, taking 2nd in the 100 Meters. The Titans were 2nd in the 4×200 with Brock Nattress, Keegan Soard, Zakiah Pettigrew and Christian Hansman. Wyatt Mernka took 3rd for South Central Calhoun in the Discus and the Titans were 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Andrew Anderson, Chance Roeder, Zakiah Pettigrew and Kolin Folsom. Zakiah Pettigrew took 3rd in the 110 Hurdles and Brock Nattress was 3rd in the 200 Meters. The Titans ended the night 3rd in the 4×100 with Brock Nattress, Keegan Soard, Zakiah Pettigrew and Christian Hamsman.
Garret Ortner was one of the two champions for East Sac, winning the 400 Hurdles in 58.78. Trace Kraus added a title in the 800 Meters in 2:13.54. Parker Engel set a new school record in the 3200 Meters in 10:40.36. He finished in 3rd. The Raiders added a 3rd in the 4×800 with Trace Kraus, Wyatt Smith, Landon Sporrer and Garret Ortner.

Kuemper At Madrid
Kuemper did a lot of damage in the field events, taking 1st place in three of them, helping them finish 3rd overall with 115 points. Madrid won the meet with 155 and Earlham was 2nd with 148 points. Kuemper claimed four titles with another nine individuals or relays finishing in 2nd or 3rd place.
Ben Gerken won the High Jump at 6-02 for the Knights, Evan Adams added titles in the Discus at 149-02 and the Shot Put at 46-00.00. Chris Mohr took 3rd in the Discus. The Knights were champs in the 4×100 with Logan Sibenaller, Ben Gerken, Chris Mohr and DJ Vonnahme. They ran a 45.57. DJ Vonnahme was 2nd in the 100 Meters and Logan Sibenaller ended in 3rd. The Knights were 2nd in the 4×800 with Tregan Beiter, Koby Lampman, Trevor Rial and Jacob Greving. The 4×200 also took 2nd with Trevor Rial, Chris Mohr, Koby Lampman and Logan Sibenaller. DJ Vonnahme added a 3rd in the 200 Meters and Trevor Rial was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles. Jacob Greving was 2nd in the 1600 Meters. They ended the meet with a 3rd in the 4×400 with Joe Klein, Evan Loew, Ryan Sundrup and Koby Lampman.

Ar-We-Va, Coon Rapids Bayard and IKM-Manning At Bob Clark Relays At Audubon
IKM-Manning continued their strong season, taking 2nd place with 113 points. Clarinda won the meet with 126 points and Underwood pushed the Wolves for 2nd with 11 points. Coon Rapids Bayard had a champion, helping them finish in 6th place with 41 points, Audubon was 8th with 37 points and Ar-We-Va didn’t have any events score points, taking 13th place. The Wolves had four champions and four other events finish 2nd or 3rd. Audubon had two 2nd or 3rd place finishes.
Caden Keller won a sprint to the finish line in the 3200 Meters, picking up the first title for the Wolves in 9:46.78. That is a New School Record. He turned right around and helped the 4×800 win with Lane Sams, Hunter Smith and Reed Hinners. They ran a 8:33.89. The Distance Medley earned another championship in 3:48.13 with Jase Lueth, Eli Dreyer, Hunter Smith and Lane Sams. Caden Keller added their final title in the 800 Meters in 2:07.38. Reed Hinners was 2nd in the 1600 Meters and the 4×400 took 2nd with Hunter Smith, Eli Dreyer, Lane Sams and Ross Kusel. The 4×200 took 3rd with Davis Rasmussen, Cooper Irlmeier, Eli Dreyer and Ross Kusel. Caden Keller added a 3rd in the 1600 Meters.
Lance Clayburg won the discus for Coon Rapids Bayard with a 144-08.
Aaron Olsen was 2nd in the 100 Meters for Audubon and the Distance Medley was 2nd with Dakota McCrainie, Aaron Olsen, Manny Beisswenger and Zeke Konkler.
Blayne Smith was 12th for Ar-We-Va in the 800 Meters.
