The Kuemper Knights had no issues bringing down Creston Thursday in route to their second win of the season.
The Knights took over the game from the beginning, playing a large majority of the first half on the Creston side of the pitch. They ended up with 13 shots on goal and three of them ended up in the back of the net to give Kuemper the 3-0 lead at halftime. Cate Mayhall ended up with two goals to start and Cierra Pudenz had one. In the second half, the Knights continued their offensive push. They’d share the love around with Megan Kies, Caitlyn Yetmar, Frannie Glynn, and McKenna Blum all netting goals in the second half. Mayhall and Pudenz both ended up with a hat trick each. The Knights with seven more goals added to their total were able to end the game with a 10-0 victory.
The Knights are now 2-4 overall on the season. They are back in action on Friday, April 21st when they travel to take on Storm Lake.
