The Kuemper Knights had a chance of location for their game Thursday against Creston, but that didn’t slow them down from nabbing their second win of the season.
The Knights were able to get out ahead in the first half by a score 2-1 and did a nice job of not allowing the Panthers to score. Michael Kasperbauer got some relief in front of the net, recording four saves. The second half was all Knights as they were able to net another goal to extend their lead to 3-1 and shut down the Creston offense. Carson Kanne, Tommy Fitzsimmons, and Fletch Badding were all credited with those three goals as the Knights left Creston with a 3-1 win.
The Knights make it two wins in a row and are now 2-6 overall. They are back home on Monday, April 24th when they take on their in-town rival Carroll.
