Boys Track Results Friday, April 14th
Coon Rapids Bayard At Colo Nesco At Nevada
Coon Rapids Bayard had a really good night, including setting a New School Record in the Shuttle Hurdle. They finished 4th with 87 points, scoring in all thirteen events they competed in. The Crusaders won four championships along with taking 2nd or 3rd in four more times.
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay team set a new school record, running a 1:06.49, taking 1st with Cal Heydon, Lucas Obert, Parker Hays and Johnny Cortez. They also won the 4×200 with Wyatt Oswald, Kolby Culbertson, Lance Clayburg and Omarion Floyd in 1:34.86. Their two individual champs were Omarion Floyd, winning the 200 Meters in 23.27 and Lance Clayburg with a 149-07 in the Discus. The Crusaders finished in 2nd place in the 4×100 with Wyatt Oswald, Kolby Culbertson, Parker Hays and Omarion Floyd. Cal Heydon was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles with Kolby Culbertson was 2nd in the High Jump and Lance Clayburg took 2nd in the Shot Put.
They head to SE Valley on Monday.

IKM-Manning, Paton Churdan and South Central Calhoun At East Sac
IKM-Manning had another strong night but was edged for the title, falling to Westwood 132 to 125.33. The Wolves scored in eighteen events with multiple individual events having two people place. South Central Calhoun was strong, scoring 86.33 points to finish 4th. The Titans place in 15 events. East Sac also scored in 15 events, finishing 7th with 65 points. Paton Churdan competed but didn’t have any events place, finishing in 11th place with no points. The Wolves had three champions and 9 other 2nd or 3rd place finishes. East Sac brought home one championship with two 2nd or 3rd place finishes and South Central Calhoun had six events finish in 2nd or 3rd place.
IKM-Manning won three championships with Caden Keller in both. Keller won the 1600 Meters in 4:41.34 and was part of the winning 4×800 with Lane Sams, Hunter Smith, Reed Hinners and Caden Keller in 8:40.28. They ended the meet winning the 4×400 in 3:38.48 with Hunter Smith, Eli Dreyer, Lane Sams and Ross Kusel. Ross Kusel was 3rd in the 400 Meters, Ben Ramsey took 3rd in the 800 Meters. Reed Hinners took 2nd in the 1600 Meters. IKM-Manning was 2nd in the 4×100 with Davis Rasmussen, Eli Dreyer, Cooper Irlmeier and Ross Kusel. They took 3rd in the 4×200 with Hunter Smith, Lane Sams, Reed Hinners and Caden Keller. The Sprint Medley team took 2nd with Trey Jasa, Max Butler, Isaac Blankman and Abe Polzien. Ross Kusel tied for 2nd in the High Jump, Cooper Irlmeier was 2nd in the Long Jump and Nolan Kerkhoff was 3rd in the Discus.
Brock Nattress helped pace South Central Calhoun , taking 2nd in the 100 Meters and Tristan Blair was 3rd in the 3200 Meters. Zakiah Pettigrew and Andrew Anderson went 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 110 Hurdles. The Titans were 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Andrew Anderson, Chance Roeder, Kolin Folsom and Zakiah Pettigrew. Andrew Anderson kept his strong day going with a 2nd place in the High Jump.
East Sac claimed a champion with Parker Engel winning the 3200 Meters in 10:44.26. Engel added a 3rd place in the 1600 Meters, Garret Ortner was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles.
