The Kuemper Knights played host to the undefeated Greene County Rams in some tough wind conditions at the fieldhouse.
The Rams wasted no time getting on the board with a quick goal with 39:15 left in the first period. The Kuemper defense at times looked to stop the offensive onslaught from the Rams, but they were overwhelmed before halftime. Greene County was able to get ahead 7-0 with one of those goals coming off a penalty kick. In the second half, the Rams kept the offensive attack going and ended the game quickly. Their final three goals were scored in the first seven minutes of the second half and won 10-0.
Greene County stays undefeated at 5-0 while the Knights are still looking for their first win of the season. Kuemper will host East Sac on Tuesday, April 18th.
