Carroll suffered its first dual team loss of the season, getting edged by Ballard 196 to 201. The Tigers had one golfer in the low 40’s with their other five golfers in the 50’s. Ballard countered with two girls in the 40’s and their other two scoring golfers shooting low 50’s.

Delaney Schurke paced Carroll as the Medalist, shooting a 41. Schurke finished with 2-3’s and 2-4’s in her round. Maddie Kielsmeier was Runner-Up Medalist with a 47. Makalei Kofron finished with a 52 for Carroll with Ashlee Danner and Emma Hoffman both shooting 54’s.

Carroll hosts Bondurant Farrar at the Muni on Thursday.

Kuemper and Denison Schleswig Girls At Atlantic At Nishna Hills 

Kuemper finished 2nd at triangular at Atlantic, beating Denison Schleswig but falling to Atlantic. The Trojans shot a 190 and picked up a runner-up medalist honor for Belle Berg who shot a 41. The Knights finished with a 208, easily out distancing Denison Schleswig, which shot a 222. Atlantic had two golfers in the 40’s and two in the low 50’s. Kuemper had two in the 40’s, one in the 50’s and one in the 60’s. Denison Schleswig had all four golfers in the 50’s.

The Knights were led by Addy Beiter, who shot a 40, earning Medalist honors. Kuemper had a pair of golfers in the 40’s with Elsa Tiefenthaler shooting a 47. Grace Tigges added a 56 and Kendra Stork finished with a 65.

The Knights will head to Greene County on Friday.

Glidden Ralston and Coon Rapids Bayard Girls At Rolling Valley Conference Meet At Atlantic Golf and Country Club 

Glidden Ralston had a strong day in Atlantic at the Rolling Valley Conference meet that was held at Atlantic Golf and Country Club. The Wildcats finished 2nd with a 236. Boyer Valley brought home the team title with a 225. Coon Rapids Bayard had one golfer so didn’t have a team score. The Wildcats had one golfer, Addy Boell in the 40’s as she shot a 43, earning her Medalist honors. They added three more golfers in the 60’s.

Reese Snyder of CAM Anita was the Runner- Up Medalist 45. Amelia Garrett was 2nd for Glidden Ralston with a 60, Elizabeth Lloyd added a 64 and Ashtyn Klocke finished with a 69.

Summer South was the only golfer for Coon Rapids Bayard and she finished her round with a 83.

Glidden Ralston is back in action on Monday, April 17th at Coon Rapids Bayard. The Crusaders will be off until the meet on Monday, April 17th as well.

East Sac, Alta-Aurelia and Storm Lake St Mary’s At Manson NW Webster

The Raiders took 2nd with a 227, behind only Alta-Aurelia and their 203. East Sac had three golfers in the 50’s and their other scoring golfer in the 60’s. Alta-Aurelia finished with 2 golfers in the 40’s and their other two golfers in the 50’s, finishing with four golfers in the top 6. Maggie Bloom of Alta-Aurelia was Medalist with a 47 and her teammate Chloe Elston was Runner-Up Medalist with a 49.

Sidney Bieret led the Raiders with a 51, followed by Kenna Steiger, who shot a 56 and Kendall Quirk with a 57. Caroline Reaman shot a 63 for the Raiders.

The Raiders will host West Bend Mallard on Thursday.

GTRA, Emmetsburg and SE Valley At South Central Calhoun

South Central Calhoun finished 3rd at their home meet on Monday, shooting a 251, finishing 33 strokes ahead of GTRA and 16 strokes behind SE Valley, who finished 2nd. The Titans had all six golfers shoot in the 60’s. Emmetsburg, the champion had five golfers in the 50’s and one in the 60’s. Elizabeth Burger of SE Valley was Medalist with a 52 and Calista Joyce of Emmetsburg was Runner-Up Medalist with a 53.  Lauren Korkow led the Titans with a 60, Mia Babcock shot a 62, Adlen Wheelock finished with a 64 and Charissa Nowatzke ended with a 65.

The Titans will host Manson NW Webster on Thursday.
