Boys Golf Results for Thursday, April 7th

The Audubon Wheelers had clear weather conditions for their home meet against Tri-Center where they performed very well. The Wheelers won the meet 182 to 233 and ended up with the top two individual performances as well. 

Oliver Desit and Jay Remsburg took home medalist and runner up medalist honors respectively. Deist had a score of 42 on the day and Remsburg finished with a 43. Deist was able to get pars on holes one, three, and four while Remsburg had pars on holes six and seven. Evan Alt and Collin Bauer rounded out the top four with scores of 48 and 49 respectively. The Wheelers picked up their first win of the season and are now 1-1 overall. They are back on the course on Friday, April 14th when they travel to take on AHSTW.

Exira-EHK and West Central Valley at Coon Rapids Bayard

 

The Coon Rapids Bayard Crusaders had a solid day on their home course Thursday when they hosted West Central Valley and Exira-EHK. Weather conditions were perfect for all three teams and the Crusaders came away with their best outing of the early season. Coon Rapids Bayard won the meet with a score of 163 over West Central Valley’s 205. Exira-EHK did not have enough golfers to have a team score. 

Gavin Heiderschiet had a season best performance with a score of 39 and was given medalist honors. He was able to get pars on holes two, six, and eight and even got a birdie on hole nine. Max Shirbroun also had a strong showing grabbing runner up medalist honors with a score of 40. Shirbroun was able to birdie on holes two and four but had two bogies on holes eight and nine. Jacob Estrada and Logan Kenyon rounded out the top four with solid performances with scores of 41 and 43 respectively. While outside of the top four, Toby Benninger and Cole Cretsinger had good scores of 44 and 54 respectively. The Crusaders are back in action on Monday, April 10th at another Rolling Valley Conference at Atlantic.
