Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: IKM-Manning and East Sac Girls Track Competed on Tuesday

Girls Track Results Tuesday, April 4th

IKM-Manning At Denison Schleswig 

IKM-Manning had a number of girls not able to attend the meet on Tuesday, forcing them to change their lineups several times. They finished the night in 7th place with 27 points, having 6 events and 7 finishes in the top 5.

Emily Albertsen was 4th in the 3000 meters while Raegan Garrison took 5th. Madelyn Snyder took home 4th in the 400 hurdles. The 4×200 took 4th with Mabel Langel, Alikxa McGinn, Hannah McKinney and Abbagail Neiheisel. The 4×400 was 5th with Emmie Ring, Hannah McKinney, Alikxa McGinn and Madelyn Snyder. IKM-Manning took 4th in the 4×800 with Alikxa McGinn, Emmie Ring, Emily Albertsen and Julianna Stribe. The Distance Medley took 5th with Mabel Langel, Abbagail Neiheisel, Hannah McKinney and Julianna Stribe.

East Sac at Ridge View Relays

The East Sac Raiders had great weather conditions Tuesday when they competed at the Ridge View Relays. They went up against some good competition and came away with two top five finishes. As a team, they finished 11th overall with 19 points. Ridge View won their home meet with 135 points. 

Maci Gustavson had the best finish for the Raiders, finishing second overall in the shot put event with a best throw of 32-05. Mary Bontrager had the other top finish for East Sac coming in fourth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:07.35. Bontrager was also part of the 4X400 relay along with Jordin Carroll, Madison Meister, and Jen Aschinger who finished eighth overall with a time of 4:51.99. Other top eight finishes for the Raiders include Olivya Mack who finished seventh in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:21.38 and the 4X200 team, composed of Carroll, Aschinger, Meister, and Emma Meredith who finished sixth overall with a time of 2:02.82. 

The Raiders are back on the track on Thursday, April 6th when they travel to Cherokee.
