A young Audubon team opened the season at home with St Albert on Thursday, showing signs they will have a strong season. Audrey Jensen had a nice game at the baseline, using a strong forehand to battle with Landry Miller. Jensen says she struggled on a windy day with her ball sailing. She felt her backhand was solid but expects to work at it over the next few weeks. Jensen fell down early and lost 6-1. Joselynne Moreno and Rachel Rynearson picked up the most wins in singles for the Wheelers with Moreno falling 6-3 and Rynearson losing 6-2. Those two teamed up in doubles as well, falling 6-2. Gery Anderson and Audrey Jensen meshed well in doubles, battling hard to a 7-5 loss in doubles.
