Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Glidden Ralston and Kuemper Girls’ Track Compete at Rod Smith Invite Tuesday

Girls Track Results for Tuesday, March 28th

Kuemper and Glidden Ralston at Woodbine

The Kuemper and Glidden Ralston girls’ teams were in action Tuesday at the Rod Smith Co-Ed Track Invite at Woodbine Tuesday where both teams brought home great finishes. The Kuemper Knights had another solid meet with Ellie Sibbel once again finishing well in the field events. She won the shot put with a best throw of 33-11.00. She also finished fourth in the discus with a best throw of 78-02. In the running events, Charlotte Hackfort brought home a second-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:40.10. In another distance event, Hackfort brought home third in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:08.00. Grace C Hoffman competed in the 400-meter hurdles and finished second with a time of 1:17.34.

For the Glidden Ralston Wildcats, Vanessa Koehler once again dominated across the board. She set a new personal best in the high jump with a best jump of 5-04.00, winning the event. She also won the 100-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles, and 200-meter dash. Teammate Kassidy Wenck was right behind her with a third-place finish overall.

Both teams are in action on Monday, April 3rd when they compete at the Richard Ryan Relays at Southeast Valley.
