Kuemper nearly rebounded from a tough start, cutting the deficit to 7 heading into the 4th quarter. The Knights started slowly, falling behind 14-4 at the end of the 1st quarter and trailed 33-14 at half. Harlan controlled the backboard, outrebound the Knights 45-26 and out shot them 35.4% to 27.5%. The Knights made 14 of 51 shots and only 6 of 24 from three point range. Kuemper did a nice job handling the ball with only 9 turnovers.
Michael Kasperbauer and Carson Kanne each had 12 points. Evan Hammer had a team high 9 rebounds, Kasperbauer had 6 steals.
The Knights end the regular season 15-6 and will play the winner of the Woodward Granger against Greene County on Thursday at home.
