Girls Wrestling Results for Thursday, January 5th
Kuemper at Nevada
The Kuemper Knights returned to the mats Thursday when they competed at the Nevada Girls Round Robin meet and had some great results.
Three wrestlers ended up with top three finishes, those being Grace Hoffman, Kyla Wiskus, and Ally Sommerfeld. Hoffman finished the day going 2-1 at 105 pounds with wins via decision and fall at 3:06, defeating Ankeny’s Ella Hron for the second-place finish. Wiskus went 1-1 on the day at 115 pounds, defeating Valley’s Chloe Know via fall at 2:18. Sommerfeld finished third overall at 120 pounds going 0-2. Sadie Smith finished fourth overall at 115 pounds with a 0-3 record.
The Knights are back in action on Saturday, January 7th when they travel to compete in the West Central Valley Tournament. Full Kuemper results can be found below.
