Girls Wrestling Results Saturday, December 11th
Carroll Girls At West Monona Tournament
The Carroll Girls won four individual championships on their way to claiming 2nd place at the West Monona Tournament on Saturday. The Tigers scored 136 points, just 7 points behind LeMars that won the championship. Carroll went 14-19 in matches wrestled with all 14 wins coming via fall.
Julia Kanne, Averi Burke, Kloee Jones and Emma Daniels all won titles for the Tigers. Kanne went 2-0 with both wins by fall, including a win in 0:31 in her last match. Averi Burke went 3-0 with all 3 wins by fall including a win in 0:48 in her last match. Kloee Jones finished 2-0 with both wins by fall, starting out with a pin in 0:37 in her first match. Emma Daniels was 2-1 with both wins by fall. Emma Grossman took 2nd place.
