Boys Swimming Results Saturday, December 10th
Carroll At Des Moines Hoover
The Carroll boys headed to Des Moines Hoover on Saturday, missing some key members of the team but still swam some great times. They finished third in the team standings, seven points behind Boone. Carroll won one relay and took second in another. Their best success came in the individual events, taking first place in 4 events and second place in two more.
Ty Thomas was very strong, winning the 100 Fly with a new personal best 59.39. He also took 2nd in the 50 Free. Thomas helped the 200 Medley team take 1st place in 1:49.48 with Kyle Sundrup, Jacob Greving and Tristen Blair while the 200 Free Relay was 2nd with Thomas, Kyle Sundrup, Jacob Greving and Tristen Blair. Tristen Blair won the 500 Free in 5:30.85, while Kyle Sundrup grabbed a pair of titles, winning the 200 IM in 2:16.20 and the 100 Back in 58.21. Jacob Greving took 2nd place in the 100 Breast.
