Girls Wrestling Results Thursday, December 1st
Audubon and Kuemper At Treynor
Kuemper girls continued their strong start to the season, a young Audubon team continued to grow and gain experience. The Knights had two champions and two wrestlers finish in second place. Audubon had one girl finish second and four take home fourth place. Kuemper wrestlers combined to go 7-2 in matches wrestled and 9-2 overall. They won five matches by fall, one by injury default and one by decision. The Wheelers finished 0-14 in matches wrestled, losing by fall in thirteen of their matches. Their other loss was by injury default.
Grace Hoffman of Kuemper was a champion, going 3-0 with two of her wins by fall and the other by injury default. Kyla Wiskus went 2-1 with both wins by fall as she finished 2nd. Sadie Smith also went 2-1 with a win by fall and one by decision. She finished in second place. Kenadie Wolterman received a bye in both rounds, scoring 2 points for her team with a 1st place finish.
Jordan Mulford of Audubon went 0-3 with two losses by fall and an injury default, finishing 4th. Rachael Rynearson went 0-3 and took 4th place. Laura McCarville finished 4th place, going 0-3. Emily Foran was 0-3 and finished 4th and Kori Sybesma went 0-2 and finished in 2nd place.
