Girls Wrestling Results for Monday, November 28th
East Sac and South Central Calhoun at Manson NW Webster Invitational
East Sac and South Central Calhoun traveled to another wrestling meet together as they both competed in the Manson NW Webster Invitational. Both teams had wrestlers that saw successful matches on the mats.
Olivia Villegas continues her solid early season success with another 2-0 day winning both matches via fall. Olivya Mack rounded out the meet going 1-1 on the day winning a match via ultimate tie breaker. Sophia Villegas saw some struggles on the mat but continued to gain experience as she fell 0-2 on the day.
For the South Central Calhoun Titans, they were led by Delanie Westcott, Kaley Timmerman, and Kourtney King who all did not drop a match. Westcott and Timmerman went 2-0 on the day where Westcott won via fall at 1:24 or less and Timmerman won via fall and tech fall. King’s lone match of the day was against East Sac’s Olivya Mack where King won via decision 8-5. The Titans also had a few second-place finishes. Evelyn Kramer went 1-1 on the day and picked up a win via fall at 3:47. Lacey Martin also went 1-1 on the day with a win via fall at 1:56.
South Central Calhoun is back on the mats on Thursday, December 1st when they compete at Collins Maxwell while East Sac along with the Titans will be at Audubon on Saturday, December 3rd.
