Audubon had their season come to an end in the postseason, as they traveled to number one ranked St Mary’s, Remsen. The Wheelers knew they would have to play a nearly perfect game and couldn’t afford a slow start. The Hawks forced a three and out on the opening drive and used good field position to strike first. Audubon punted on four of their first-five possessions and turned it over on downs on their best drive, an 8-play drive that ended at the Wheelers 43-yard line. St Mary’s scored on every possession in the game, building a 34-0 lead by the end of the 1st quarter and 55-0 at half. Audubon ended the game with 60-yards rushing and threw for 17-yards. St Mary’s was able to establish the run game, picking up 337-yards on the ground while throwing for 195-yards. The Wheelers turned it over once and held the ball for 26:24, running 42 plays to the Hawks 36 plays.

Aaron Olsen carried the ball 17 times for 29-yards and Carson Wessel had 5 carries for 13-yards. Olsen was 4-9 throwing the ball for 22-yards with one interception.
