Carroll finished up their season, winning their 5th game of the season to finish 5-4. The Tigers were able to establish their ground game, using it to drive the ball late in the 3rd quarter, scoring to start the 4th quarter, taking a 17-14 lead, extending it to 24-12, then holding on for the win. Carroll ran for 221-yards, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. The defense created a pair of turnovers, including an interception by Trey Hunter that set up a 27-yard touchdown to Hunter from Jack White, giving Carroll a 10-6 lead at half. Both defenses controlled the 1st quarter, pitching a shutout. Carroll didn’t have to throw much, with their running game working. They finished with 65-yards through the air on 8 passing attempts. Sergeant Bluff Luton took the lead in the 3rd quarter, going up 12-10, holding that lead into the 4th quarter. Carroll began a drive late in the 3rd, having the ball at the Warriors 3-yard line to start the 4th quarter. Reece Ziegmann punched in a 2-yard touchdown run to put the Tigers ahead. Carroll also got a 1-yard touchdown from Jack White. Kieran Polking got the Tigers on the board with a 24-yard field goal in the 2nd quarter. Polking was 3-3 on extra points as well.
Reece Ziegmann had a big night toting the football, running for 125-yards on 26 carries. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry and scored a touchdown. Jack White carried the ball 8 times for 57-yards and was 3-8 passing for 65-yards and a touchdown. Trey Hunter caught 2 passes for 35-yards and a touchdown and Ziegmann added a catch for 30-yards. Taidyn Peterson led the Tigers with 8 tackles. Edrik Heisterkamp had 6 tackles and recovered a fumble and Colton Wieland had a pair of tackles for loss and a sack.
