Girls State Qualifying Cross Country Results Wednesday, October 19th
Kuemper At Glenwood
Marie Dea of the Kuemper Knights punched her ticket to the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge on Saturday, October 29th. Dea continued her outstanding season, taking 8th place in a strong field. She ran a 19:44.24, edging Breckyn Petersen of Glenwood by .17. Julia Kanne finished just short of making State, taking 17th place in 20:52.48, finishing just under 13 seconds behind the 15th place runner. The Knights would finish 8th as a team with 213 points, 6 points behind Sergeant Bluff Luton. ADM won the State Qualifying Meet with 49 points, while Glenwood was 2nd with 64 points and Harlan took 3rd with 76 points.
