Girls Cross Country Results Thursday, October 13th 

Kuemper At Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet At Harlan 

Marie Dea brought home a medal with another top 5 finish on Thursday as the Knights took 7th in the team standings. Dea and Julia Kanne gave Kuemper a pair of runners in the top 20 with Kanne taking 16th place. The Knights finished with 180 points, behind Lewis Central with 155 points. Glenwood claimed the conference title with 57 points, edging Harlan 60 and Atlantic with 61 points.

Dea ran another strong time, finishing in 19:42.08, trailing Claire Pellett of Atlantic  by less than six seconds. Kanne finished with a 21:09.16, just over a second from the top 15.

Audubon At Mount Ayr Invite

Stefi Beisswenger picked up an individual win for the Wheelers, running a 21:11.03, leading second place Karson Oberender of Martensdale St Mary’s by nearly seven seconds. The Wheelers only had two runners compete and weren’t eligible for a team score. Kari Graeve was their other runner, taking 85th in 38:47.57.
