Carroll drove into MOC Floyd Valley three times in the first half and twice in the second half but fell short of scoring on each drive as they dropped a tough district game at home. The Tigers outgained the Dutchmen 235 to 220 but MOC capitalized on their lone deep drive and on a Tiger turnover. Carroll trailed 7-0 at half and held the Dutchmen scoreless in the 3rd quarter. Carroll forced back-to-back turnovers to start the second half but weren’t able to turn them into points.

Carroll opened the game with a 10-play drive but turned it over on downs at the Dutchmen 31-yard line. The Dutchmen worked the ball down the field, scoring on a 1-yard run by Blake Aalbers. They lead 7-0 with 1:37 left in the 1st quarter. Both offenses were able to sustain drives in the first half with Carroll having three possessions and MOC three. The Tigers looked like they would answer on their second drive, marching the all down the field, getting inside the 5-yard line. They would go for it on 4th down at the 4-yard line but weren’t able to score, turning it over at the 2-yard line. MOC ate up clock on a 10 play drive but punted the ball back to Carroll. The Tigers took over at their own 17-yard line, moving the ball again, but turning it over on downs 9 plays later at the Dutchmen 30-yard line with 0:14 left in the half. MOC took a knee, taking a 7-0 lead into half.

The Dutchmen looked like they might score on the opening drive of the second half, hitting Kooper Huss on a pass across the middle. He broke towards the end zone and was caught around the 10-yard line. He fumbled the ball around the 5-yard line and Chase Ragaller who had hustled back to be in the play caught the ball in the air, giving Carroll the ball at their own 5-yard line. The Tigers punted and MOC turned it over again as Trey Hunter played centerfield catching a deep ball at the Tigers 20-yard line. Carroll was forced to punt again. The defense forced a three and out, giving Carroll the ball at their own 39-yard line. Tyeson Vaas jumped a Carroll pass into the flat, returning it to the Carroll 8-yard line, setting up a 5-yard touchdown run from Dylan Maasdam, putting the Dutchmen up 14-0 with 9:44 left. Carroll had one last chance, driving into Dutchmen territory but they turned it over on downs at the 32-yard line.

Cooper Ludwig carried the ball 12 times for 46-yards and Reece Ziegmann had 12 carries for 35-yards. Jack White finished 10-22 for 146-yards with an interception. Trey Hunter had 5 catches with several really tough catches for 94-yards. Payton Wardell added 3 catches for 22-yards.
