The Carroll Tigers had solid finishes in their second home meet of the week as they hosted Spencer and Fort Dodge Thursday.
The Tigers against both teams fell short of victory by a score of 59-35 in both the head-to-head matchups. Despite that, they had some solid times all around. Emma Myers was able to take home two individual first place finishes. She won the 200 IM in a time of 2:18.63 and the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:10.26. Amelia Holt picked up the other first place victory for the Tigers in the 200 free with a time of 2:12.21. Carroll was able to finish second in one of their relays, the 200-medley relay. Myers, Holt, Hailey Burns, and Zelda DeMoss finished with a time of 1:59.63. Burns was also able to pick up an individual second place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 1:12.09.
The Tigers will compete at the Johnston Invitational on Saturday, October 8th.
